Cachapas is the Spanish word for “crumpets” Cachapas are corn pancakes. Maize flour or corn is their base. It’s a traditional Venezuelan dish sold throughout the country. They serve them typically with Queso de Mano. However, in today’s world Cachapas are stuff with almost anything, from Pernil to Ham and even Carne Mechada (Shredded beef.)
